Since 1948, the North Carolina Coaches Association has presented one of the top Coaching Clinics in the nation. Each July, high school coaches across North Carolina come to Greensboro for instruction from some of America’s best coaches and clinicians. The list of clinicians over the years reads like a Who’s Who of Hall of Fame Coaches. In addition to excellent educational opportunities, coaches attend required rules sessions provided by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association. The NCCA also partners with the North Carolina Athletic Directors Association to host instructional sessions for athletic directors, and the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association to provide clinics for First Responders and Student Athletic Trainers.
Membership in the NCCA
is available for full-time Certified Teachers and Teacher Assistants who are paid as a Coach, Athletic Director, or Licensed Athletic Trainer at a public school in North Carolina. For those coaches who do not meet membership requirements, Associate Status with the NCCA is available for those who coach, serve as AD, Athletic Trainer or First Responder at a public or private school in NC who may not teach but may be paid or work as a volunteer. In addition, anyone may attend the NC Coaching Clinic as a Clinic Attendee.
